What happens at this event?
Do you hate how shop bought clothes patterns never fit quite right? Do you wish you could create and modify patterns to suit your own style? This is the class for you!\ In this class, we’ll learn how to draft a bodice block based on your measurements and create a toile with a flattering fit. You can choose from either making a womenswear or menswear bodice.
In this course, you’ll learn:
How to accurately measure your torso- You will make your first pattern from it adding seam allowances and markings.

FAQ's
We will start the class by taking each others measurements.
Each student will then take their measurements and start work on their own toile. Everyone will be working at their own pace.
Once the block is made seam allowance will be added and the toile made.
This class is designed to show you how to turn your measurements into a basic block and first toile. Whether it fits perfectly can depends on many aspects.
Everybody's shape is unique so it is very common to have to adjust your block and toile multiple toiles until you are completely happy.
Some people who are quicker may have time to do some adjustments in the class however you may need to continue tweaking and adjusting your pattern after the class to get the fit perfect.
