What happens at this event?
Do you hate how shop bought clothes patterns never fit quite right? Do you wish you could create and modify patterns to suit your own style? This is the class for you! In this class, we’ll learn how to draft a bodice block based on your measurements and create a toile with a flattering fit…
FAQ's
This class takes place across one day, between 10.00 to 17.00 with an hour for lunch.
We will start the class by taking each others measurements.
Each student will then take their measurements and start work on their own toile. Everyone will be working at their own pace.
Once the block is made seam allowance will be added and the toile made.
You will leave this class with one completed toile but it can take several attempts to create one that fits perfectly. This class will equip you with the skills needed to continue tweaking and adjusting your pattern at home to get the fit perfect.
In case you need further assistance in the future, you’re welcome to join our monthly Sewing Surgery to receive individual advice and guidance from our experienced teachers.

This was for a day and was very good and learnt lots and came away with a trouser toile which fitted really well.
