Join us for our weekly relaxed sewing and mending sessions where you can get stuck into your own projects alongside fellow makers/potential besties.

At our socials, you can:

Enjoy using our fully-equipped sewing studio complete with large tables, sewing machines, overlockers and every tool you’ll need
Bring along any torn or yawn boring clothing to mend and upcycle (we’ll help you!)

Bursary Places

Thanks to the Arts Council we are offering free or low cost places to people who cannot afford the full price at the moment. Simply fill out this form and we’ll send you a voucher code.

Can I buy more than one session at a time?

Yes, you can buy bundle six of classes below.

What transport links are there?

Nearest stations: Crofton Park (1 min walk). Brockley (10 min walk) and some great bus links too. There is free parking on the street outside the library.

What a lovely cunning feel at the Sewcial mornings recently attended - everyone beavering away on their projects and the teachers available to give advice, encouragement and recommendations. I loved being there. Book early as the spaces fill up quickly.

Always happy when go along. Helpful, knowledgeable,friendly knowledgeable staff. Everything you need is available resource wise. The setup suits me, help guidance and reassurance is there when needed. Staff come round to each person without being asked to check on your project. Of course help is available if needs be. The only draw back I would love to be able to book via an app. Other than that no complaints. If you are considering joining this or any of their other sessions just do it.
